Most analysis software's have some method of leaving notes throughout created models. When it comes to completing QC/QA checks of piping models, it would be quite useful to have a notes section either overall for the model or for each component/node point.

This would allow for useful design information to be left at specific points (for example a pump datasheet file name for a pump connection, a vendor drawing for a support type, or just overall notes about a project).

This would help both the designer and the checker (as well as anyone that comes along later) to have an understanding of what is being modelled/considered and would help speed up QM checks. This could be toggled on or off for output printing.
