During the development of pipe design, one may need to iteratively. make small changes, and check the impact on stress, Forces, Restraint forces, etc.
It would save a lot of time if there was an indicator on the default main UI that states the highest stress, and whether it passes or fails code stresses. Currently, users have to check the stress plot each time which can take several seconds to loads.
Yes. it should be quite easy for you to implement.
I think we could probably do better than this by listing the max value in any stress category. We already do what you propose with the Code Stress Plot, so only saving the effort of opening that.
The time delay to load the result can be captured as part of running the analysis. The time delay I am referring to, is particularly about switching between different results tools. This would minimize one additional tool that needs to be opened. Yes, I agree that an improvement of speed overall would be beneficial for all users.
Can you provide a suggestion how this would look? How would it work with multiple combinations, which one should it show (all or largest ratio). I like the idea but the delay might still be there as it would have to review the database for the stress values, which is what slows it down in the first place. Improving the speed of display for the interactive scan of all the stress results might be a better use of time.
