Reference point is great tool to verify connector capacity. Currently only symmetric allowable values could be used. Many times connectors allowable loads are nonsymmetric ex. range of values -80 to 0kN or -150 to 350kNm. See attached image. It would be useful to extend that functionality by allowing to set min and max allowable value per each load direction.
Correct, further some turbine vendors give allowable forces and moments in formula. Eg. 0.674Fr+0.738Mr = 3940 Newton. If this is also automised in software, will reduce some time in getting results in excel and then manual calculations.
