When it is added local loads for nozzles, these loads should be taken in consideration for the support calculation and fundation loads considering the location and orientation of nozzle, for example,
Nozzle A located on top head has local loads such as P =10daN; VL=10daN
Nozzle B located on the shell at 0º with loads P =5 daN; VL=5 daN
Nozzle C located on shell at 90º with loads P =15 daN; VL=15 daN
For supports it should be considered a weight of P(A) + VL (B) + VL (C) = 10+5+15 = 30 daN extra weight (it can be applied a factor of 0.2 or 0.4 depending on the number of nozzles)
For the shear load at the base of the supports it should be VL (A) + max(P(B);P(C)) = 10 + 15 = 25 daN of shear
For the moments the same.
When will this new feature be added to the program?
This idea is very good. One suggestion is also applying the same concept when we have a load on nozzles attached in a flat flange. The loads should be transferred to the bolts.
