Insert 2 node points when a flange is inserted, to allow the user to set the BW SIF

By default, when you insert a WN or Lap Joint flange in Autopipe, it does not account for SIF at the BW joint. User has to enter an additional node point at a flange length and define a Joint Type with a defined offset. This could be automated.

Apply wind Shape factor to pipe properties instead of everything as it varies due to geometry in AS1170.2

You currently only have 1 place to input the Wind shape factor and this is applied to all pipes but the value is different for each diameter in Accordance with AS1170.2. This value could be input in the pipe properties for individual pipe sizes, t...

Combination Reorganization

In the screenshot in the attached link, for example, i would like to move the highlighted combinations between LC130 and LC131. Does this make sense? As far as I know, the only way to do this is to duplicate LC131 to LC148 and then delete them. Li...

Ring Tool - Ability to define Branch Type for each projection angle

Currently, the Ring Tool is limited to apply all Run Branch types or all Tee Branch Types. Why doesn't the tool allow the user to independently define which nodes need to be tees or runs? See attached screenshot for details.

Add option to connect disconnected segments after PCF or other import

Very often we are tasked of cleaning an imported PCF or other imports. We notice quite a few disconnected segments as evident with anchors at the middle of runs. Very often the PCF import tolerance does not work, and many disconnections are import...

Fix the Load Sequencing for Snow Load

The help file states the following for snow load analysis: Limitation Currently, AutoPIPE only considers snow loading as linear analysis. Load sequencing does not apply to snow loads and such results should not be considered. For analysis sets tha...

Flange Ansi check as per UG-44: setting a user ratio for each rating

Ansi/kellogs method is a widely used way to check flange joint, but different standard, or client specification could use different allowable. Now the ASME BPVC VII UG-44 suggest 2.2 for B16.5 #150 and 1.5 for most of the others; DNV suggested 1.5...

Dynamic interface between Autopipe and Openplant

Currently, the interface between Autopipe and Openplant is disconnected. Users have to manually export piping models to Autopipe, and perform analysis. If changes need to happen in one model, the other model isnt't updated dynamically. Further, th...
