Hi Sean, we shipped the calculation part as a separate module in v23.00.01 that you can use while we complete the UI.
To get started with the EN 1591 solver, you can use the user reference manual at the following default location of installed version of AutoPIPE:
C:\Program Files\Bentley\AutoPIPE 2023\Documents\EN 1591 Flange Analysis User Reference.pdf
The User Reference is a complete guide describing the use of the solver and the schema for input database. The User Reference also includes a Quick Start section on how to run the example model provided with AutoPIPE installation. Some other folders are listed below:
EN 1591 Solver Executable: C:\Program Files\Bentley\AutoPIPE 2023\apanalysis.exe
EN 1591 Example Database: C:\Program Files\Bentley\AutoPIPE 2023\Examples\modelexample.ENFLG
Is there any updates on the development of this feature? Last update was 1.5 years ago. Annex G is very complicated but this seems to be a highly popular addition.
Add the function of flange check based on code EN-1591.
Merged
It would provide a more reasonable analysis result for flange check compared with those too much conservative methods such as Equivalent Pressure Evaluation.
Still targeting and on track for the AutoPIPE 2025 release Sean.
Hi Phil,
Can you provide update on this?
Thanks,
Sean
Phil, that's awesome. Good to see the work and progress on this idea, great!

Phil, will we be seeing EN1591-1 in AutoPIPE 2024?
The status of this idea changed twice last week; initially, it moved to "Planned", now it says" Shipped". What does "Shipped" mean?
This is not likely to be complete until AutoPIPE 2024 release. This is the hope!
Hi Phil, do you have any updates on this? It would be highly valuable.

Thanks you for your idea.
This is already in development. We have the engineering complete and now need to design the UI. Planned for the next release of AutoPIPE
